Tourmaline’s the "rainbow stone" come in almost every color.  Many of you have asked what colors does the tourmaline stone come in?  Here is a list of the colors that you can find a tourmaline stone in.

The name tourmaline comes from Sri-Lankan word "tourmaline" meaning "mixed."  The tourmaline comes in a variety of colors and shades over 100. 

Rubellite tourmaline = Red tourmaline

Verdite tourmaline = Green tourmaline

Indicolite tourmaline = Blue tourmaline

Dravile tourmaline = Brown tourmaline

Achroite tourmaline = Colorless tourmaline

Schorl tourmaline = Black tourmaline

Paraiba tourmaline = Bright Blue (electric blue)

Watermelon tourmaline = Green on the outside Red or Pink inside

Chrome tourmaline = Bright Green

Bi-color tourmaline = two colors in one stone

Tri-color tourmaline = three colors in one stone

Color change tourmaline’s = These tourmaline’s have the same affect as an alexandrite stone only with more hues and larger color change, and they are less expensive. 

There are also yellow tourmaline’s.

The colors of the rainbow are in the tourmaline stone the you can use tourmaline stones in rings, earrings, pendants, and bracelets. 

They truly are the "rainbow stone."
