How did white gold get its color

White gold has become so popular in the past five years, but how many people know what it is.  Every day in our store we have customers come in, and buy white gold and the first thing they say is "will it change color?"  White gold is not mined white it is yellow gold that alloys are add to to make it white.  In five years we only have had one time that it changed on us, but having said that with wear, and scratches it may start to show some yellow.  This is very easy to fix by having your item dipped in rhodium.
